Promo video of the Annenkov exhibition. Teaser of the exhibition as an independent art form
Museum of Russian Impressionism
A video for a unique exhibition, which contains the works of Yuri Annenkov, scattered across many collections in different countries. Among them are three works from the Pompidou Center in Paris, the famous series of portraits of politicians and cultural figures and illustrations for Block's poem "Twelve", thanks to which Annenkov became widely known.
The most famous works by Y. Anenkov, the "portrait painter of the Silver Age" — of A. Akhmatova, L. Trotsky, A. Duncan and others — were revived on the set. The essence of the video is a spiritual dance of characters in a circle of white doors. The exhibition was called: "Revolution next-door".
It wasn’t a commercial. Quick, but very thorough casting — we needed special actors. Initially, the project budget was very limited, since it wasn’t commercial — we had to find an idea that was easy to implement, but remarkable in perception.
The video was used as an official teaser of the exhibition — Including in advertising campaigns during the pandemic.
